The question, ‘what kind of an album should we make?’ was difficult, but quite an easy one at the same time. As members of the group, we had different tastes in music and we were limited to 13-14 pieces. The first solution that came to our minds was to focus on one type. However, we preferred the idea of presenting a rich repertory with one representative sample from different types of music. It was a beginning; and the thought that the melancholy, the joy, and the humour present in our music would be shared with other people is what drove us to the studio. We sang some of the songs in the original notation and we reorganised some of them during rehersals because we felt they would sound better that way. Some songs sounded so different during live performances that we decided to sing these ‘final’ versions in the recording.

The album has three sections; Acapella,Capella and Danse Music. The first section includes turkish folk music, turkish classical music, turkish pop music, arabesque and classical music. We sang our own songs in the second section. In the last section, we have a remix version of a song from the first section and one of our songs reorganised by DJ Murat Uncuoglu.

We think it is a colourful and warm album. We hope you will enjoy it.
